Bob_and_Anna (Thailand): We stayed at the Chaba House for 5 nights. We only paid 350 baht per night. So it is hard to complain about anything and that is why we gave the place 5 stars. The hotel is not in the heart of the city so it is much more quiet and not as busy, but there are still plenty of places to eat and relax around the hotel. For only 20 baht per person you can get rides from the red taxis to anywhere in the city. Most important, Mr. Pathom (the owner) is a wonderful host. He is around during breakfast and will help you in anyway he can. And yes, breakfast is included for the price. If you want a change in food tell Mr. Pathom you want the Thai style breakfast instead if the farang style and they will bring something different everyday. We could never finish all the different food they brought us (a little of this and a little of that) :-) The place is very quiet at night and most of the people were very considerate and quiet. Most people who stay here were taking Thai massage classes. BUT As typical of most cheaper places, we had a noisy neighbor one night. A French couple who felt we wanted to hear them talk loudly all night long. We spoke to Mr. Pathom about the problem and he told them right away about his quiet and considerate of others policy and the next night they were quiet. I would highly recomend this place if you are on a budget and looking for a quiet peaceful place to stay while visiting Chiang Mai.

Znojmo, Czech Republic: stayed at chaba twice, and mr pathom picked us up both times from airport and train station. Its on the outskirts of the city, but eveything you need nearby, restaurants etc,. differant types of rooms, better ones round a nice courtyard and communal meeting area, met so many nice people there, most doing 1 month thai massage courses. Good breakfast included, laundry service, internet cafes nearby, but has wifi, some rooms have old computers in, but they need sorting out.oh yes very cheap and quiet area away from hussle and bustle.

Sam, Darlington: This guest house is fantastic, I stayed for a month, Mr patom is the nicest host, he went out of his way to please his guests, i was made to feel very welcome..I would recommend anyone to stay here, I was studying massage at TMC and it was the best location, most there study massage so everyone is nice..The breakfasts he served were lovely, to be honest its the best place i've stayed at in thailand in all the years i've stayed there..If you want a memorable exsperince id say stay there..This place will leave you with great memories...
